JAMESTOWN The usual attack and an unusual serve helped Jamestown Blue Jays Volleyball to another WDA win on Thursday. Lucy Falk had 17 kills and Amelia Newman served eight of the Blue Jays 13 aces in a sweep of Dickinson 25-13, 25-18, 25-10 at Jerry Meyer Arena. For Jamestown (15-3, 11-1 WDA), Falk had as many kills as Dickinson (1-16, 0-11) had as a team.  Newman used a powerful jump serve for her aces, three of which came on consecutive points as Jamestown rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the first set.  Lily Schulz and Adisyn Yunck had two aces each and Falk served one. Seven of Falk s aces came in the second set to hold off the Mavericks in their best set of the match. Ava Hauck had seven kills for Dickinson.  Claire Rodakowski notched five. Jamestown is tied with Century, one match ahead of Legacy for the WDA lead.  The Blue Jays will play Friday and Saturday in the Metro Invitational Tournament at Fargo North High School.
